We are currently searching for highly motivated Graduate and Undergraduate student interns to join our dynamic Marine Hotel Operations - Food & Beverage department. The selected interns will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities.

DATES

  • Program runs 10 weeks from June 17th - August 23rd. (Please note that end dates could be extended depending on department needs and students availability.)

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate (rising junior or rising senior) or graduate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher (will require transcripts) in a four year accredited College/University.

PROJECT(S)

  • The primary function of the intern will be the development and oversight of "outlet guides" designed to standardize product and service within the Food & Beverage (F&B) department. They will also work closely with the F&B to create new program materials for our fall/winter itineraries.
  • The projects will expose this individual to various areas of the company. Via collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, hotel and entertainment, the project work will provide a solid oversight into the inner workings of several departments to achieve revenue and ratings goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant environment is helpful
  • Enrolled in program with a focus on Food & Beverage

COMPENSATION

Paid hourly; $18.00 an hour for Undergraduate Students and $30.00 an hour for Graduate Students.

MAJORS PREFERRED

  • (May include but not limited to): Hospitality, Tourism, or Restaurant & Hotel
