Global Procurement Administration Co-Op

Job Description Summary

The student will support the Global Procurement Administration Team. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to collecting, analyzing, and managing data to provide key insights for actionable improvements to the procurement organization. Collect and report information using collaboration with third parties to provide AAM with intellectual data. Extract, analyze and report system data using Company sponsored software. Support compliance to the Procurement processes and procedures. Act as a liaison between the team and the Suppliers in regards to the Supplier registration process and master data management. Lead the Supplier onboarding activities with in multiple ERP systems.

Job Description

The student will support the Global Procurement Administration Team.
Responsibilities:

  • Extract, analyze and report system data using Company sponsored software.
  • Support compliance to the Procurement processes and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and the Suppliers in regards to the Supplier registration process and master data management.

Required Skills and Education

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Preferred majors are: Procurement, Supply Chain and Business.
  • Must have a 3.0 G.P.A. or above preferred.
  • Graduation date of December 2020 or later preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy of information
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to learn other programs used by various AAM departments.
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
