The Aftermarket Customer Support position is responsible for providing aftermarket support for company products by utilizing knowledge of product line equipment to assist dealers in securing a greater share of replacement parts in the market/territory. This position will advise dealers on the availability of conversion parts and assist dealer and/or customer to solve problems associated with replacement parts.The position will also be providing aftermarket support for company products by utilizing knowledge of product line equipment to assist dealers in securing a greater share of replacement parts in the territory. You will advise dealers on the availability of conversion parts and assist dealer and/or customer to solve problems associated with replacement parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares quotations, processes and expedites order through distributors and to direct end-users
  • Expedite open parts orders and manage backlog
  • Work with other internal departments to correct parts manuals, prints, inventory and pricing
  • Support historical information by maintaining records on distributors and products that are at the fingertips of all aftermarket team members
  • Provides distributors with information on parts usage and trends
  • Understand Export Compliance Regulations for international Shipments
  • Provide back-up support for inside parts team when needed
  • Price and Maintain intercompany Price Lists by Country
  • Understands competitor products and pricing to identify sales opportunities
  • Work cross functionally with all Terex MPS team members including buyers /planners/engineering to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Participates in creation and implantation of distributor score card and review process
  • Develop and maintain recommended parts list for equipment based in distributor's area of responsibility
  • Assist with special projects as directed by Manager


Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree
  • Heavy equipment experience
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
  • Understanding and Reading Parts Manuals
  • Understanding and Reading Prints
  • Oracle experience
  • Possess strong communication and customer service skills
  • Possess a strong team concept
