Job Summary Fishbeck is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join firm operations to further develop and administer policies, programs, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and regulations. The selected individual will be responsible for driving health and safety continuous improvement initiatives for Fishbeck and will work closely with all levels of stakeholders to reduce risk, promote a culture of safety, and ensure a safe and healthful environment for staff members, clients, and the communities we serve. The position will manage change and provide comprehensive risk assessments and data analysis. Qualified candidates will have a proven record managing time effectively, recognizing and mitigating hazards, and writing, developing, and implementing safety programs.
Primary Functions
Minimum Physical Requirements
Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, walking, and maneuvering around off-site facilities. Will have normal office working conditions and be required to use a computer and phone. Accommodation may be made for some of these physical demands for otherwise qualified individuals who require and request such accommodation. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities.
Desired Education/Licensure
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
