Company Overview

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing was founded in 2010 to acquire the assets of a joint venture between the Van Andel Institute and Grand Valley State University, to support the life sciences industry’s growing need for high-quality, outsourced sterile parenteral manufacturing.

Since our inception, we have grown rapidly to meet industry demands and now employ more than 190 employees in our multiple facilities near downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. With nearly 100,000 square feet of sophisticated cGMP space, we meet a full range of fill and finish needs, from early clinical trial fills through commercialization.

Safety and quality are important to us. We are proud to say our last two audits resulted in zero FDA Form 483s. FDA-regulations are closely followed to ensure all our equipment and processes are fully qualified and validated for complete cGMP compliance. Learn more about Form 483s or cGMPs from the FDA.

In 2017, 2018, and 2019, Inc. Magazine ranked Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing as one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America. Additionally, we won a spot on West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2017 and 2020.
