Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 246-bed acute care, medical and surgical facility with a full range of ancillary services. We have been serving far Northern California since 1945. Our hospital has a highly efficient and expanded Emergency Department, a technologically advanced cardiac cath lab, Primary Stroke Program, Full Cycle IV Accredited Chest Pain Center and the regions only advance inpatient diabetes care hospital recognized by The Joint Commission. Our outpatient support services include our Diabetes Care Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Wound Care Center and Women's Heart Center.

Shasta Regional Medical Center was recently named as a 100 Top Hospital and a 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospital in the nation by Truven Health Analytics based on higher patients survivor rates, lower complications and patient satisfaction scores. We received an "A" for our Hospital Safety Score? by The Leapfrog Group and named one of the nation's top performing hospitals two years in a row on key quality measures by The Joint Commission.
