Job Description & Qualifications

We are seeking a Bill of Materials Analyst to act as an expert in best practices for material cost, weight, investment management using BOM as foundational tool for analysis and projection of future assessments supporting product development.

Responsibilities

  • Bill of Material Analyst acts as the expert in best practices for material cost, weight, investment management using BOM as foundational tool for analysis and projection of future assessments supporting product development
  • Act as Key Contributor to design and develop new processes/tools that provide efficient authoring, work-flows and reporting in support of Product development
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and passionate about customer support
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Automotive Industry
  • 1+ year of experience with work related to Bill of Materials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
  • Bill or Materials experience in a key or lead role
  • Familiarity with Ford Systems a plus (BOM, TeamCenter, WERS, GPIRS)
  • Understanding of automotive procurement patterns/practices
  • Understanding Bill-of-Process relationships with Bill-of-Material
  • Understanding of industry leading BOM authoring techniques and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated & well organized
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and SharePoint
