Talent and Development Services Consultant


This position is responsible for supporting, developing, and documenting operations, processes, and procedures related to HR Talent Development (HRTD) activities. HRTD's activities primarily include (but are not limited to) learning, development, succession, performance, employee engagement, and organizational change management. This position interacts frequently with all HRTD department members, legal, risk, compliance, and audit colleagues across the company, and all levels of senior management. This position supports the activities that the HRTD department performs, including but not limited to training, talent management, engagement and OCM at Comerica.

Position Responsibilities

Risk and Operations

  • Includes but is not limited to providing guidance and support concerning HRTD's risk- and compliance-related processes, procedures, record retention, folder management, application assignments, and risk management and responses.
  • Participating on and consulting with multiple departments in support of Comerica's comprehensive risk programs and projects.

Reporting

  • Includes but is not limited to creating and supporting sustainable reports and tools that support a learning culture and an engaged workforce.

Technology & Tool Management

  • Includes but is not limited to supporting the HRTD team; ensuring the department's technology and tools are compliant and adoption/utilization is maximized.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Includes but is not limited to supporting the management of existing and potential vendors, and contract management.
  • Includes but is not limited to supporting budget- and expense-related reconciliation, and supporting the budget planning process.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business, Psychology, Data Analytics, OD, Instructional Design, HR, Humanities
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • 3 years of experience in instructional design/development
  • 2 years of experience developing compelling dashboards with data or working with learning and talent data
  • 1 year of experience working with vendors

Licenses/Certifications

  • Preferred, Information Mapping Professional Certificate or similar.
  • Preferred, Risk related Certificates and Certifications
  • Preferred, ATD Instructional Design Certificate
  • Preferred, HRCI PHR or SPHR Certification
  • Preferred, ATD CPLP Certification
