You will be accountable for sales of Robotics Customer Service front end, Robotics & Discrete Automation Service & Digital Platform in Auburn Hills, Michigan, driving sales volumes and margins. You will be responsible to provide technical, order and payment related assistance/support to the internal and external customers. Coordinates with relevant stakeholders to obtain complete case ownership and to improve customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Core responsibilities: Ensures the resolution of customer issues by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management and other internal and/or external teams
  • Recommends appropriate solution for customer requests and coordinates with the related teams to ensure end to end handling of the request (example, production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice, etc.) is in place
  • Keeps the customers proactively informed on the issue status based on the inputs received and clarifies their doubts
  • Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process
  • Prepares and analyzes regular statistics (example, forecast) using available tools and collecting additional relevant information
  • Tracks regular sales performance against the target and shares insights with the management
  • License to operate/Core values: Demonstrates ABB's core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly
  • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies and processes in their assigned area
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies
  • Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities
  • Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting and risks
  • Collaboration/Leadership: Coordinates with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams to resolve customer issues
  • Maintains constant communication with customers and internal functions, proactively and provides them with the relevant information to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Acts as a point of escalation for technical issues reported by customers
Your background

  • High school diploma and minimum 2 years experience in customer/sales/orders support Or Bachelor's degree and minimum experience required
