The Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Partnerships of Herman Miller Gaming, and as a key member HMG Marketing Team - this role will be instrumental in helping build HMG into the premier endemic brand within the gaming community by developing effective marketing campaigns that connect us with the consumer while helping us advance our business objectives.

This position offers a wide scope of responsibilities including brand building, product positioning, creative & social content development, and global/regional market alignment. You will be joining a small team of passionate gamers and marketers who not only develop the strategies but also have the capabilities to execute on the vision.

The ideal candidate for this role embodies a deep passion for gaming alongside outstanding product marketing expertise. They should possess a track record of successfully spearheading marketing campaigns and have the capability to inspire and collaborate across various departments within a sizeable organization. This role offers a distinctive opportunity for someone to leave a significant imprint on the ultimate marketing outcomes and actively contribute to shaping how that work gets done.

What You'll Do

  • Develop market positioning and strategic plans to attain commercial objectives
  • Spearhead creative marketing campaigns from ideation through to execution to captivate gamers worldwide
  • Guide creative development of brand assets and campaigns that deeply connect with the gaming community
  • Drive 360-degree omnichannel strategy encompassing social media, email, PR, paid and influencer marketing channels
  • Enhance internal marketing workflows to optimize ROI
  • Drive coordination and alignment with global retail marketing teams for international alignment

You

  • Minimum of 5 years in product marketing experience
  • High-attention to detail and strong orientation towards processes
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration and organizational skills
  • Expert-level understanding of the gaming market
  • Self-Motivated & Entrepreneurial - knows how to work stuff out & get stuff done, is fast & nimble
  • Experience creating/producing social content and engaging with the gaming community
  • Exhibit influence within a complex, matrixed organization with a knack for gaining cross-functional buy-in and fostering a shared vision
  • Ready to take the lead, inspire creativity, and effectively engage with multiple partners
  • Experience in Retail segments is highly desirable
