Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to farm machinery, forklifts, and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs or maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic
- Familiarity with farm machinery and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
