THE JOB:

As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will directly impact the success of our hotel by negotiating and contracting rates of our hotel rooms and meeting center space. You will identify new business while maintaining and managing our existing accounts. In your role, you will partner with the team to createWOWmemories that the guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Evaluate and manage inquiries through pre-qualifications, rate negotiations, issue proposals and contracts, process bookings, and follow up appropriately with established and prospective clients
  • Develop and grow new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals by prospecting, making, sales calls, entertaining and conducting site inspections
  • Identify and develop opportunities to maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel
  • Provide input and execute strategic plans for assigned geographic territory consistent with department goals
  • Ensures high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Has two years of experience in group hospitality sales or three years convention services sales experience
  • Takes pride in their work
  • Describes themselves as detail-oriented
  • Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression
  • Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences
