This position will be part of the Robotic Systems Development (RSD) team within the Central Technology Office (CTO). This position is located in Holland, MI. This is a hybrid position requiring three days in-office and two days optional to work from home.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 - $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This position is for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our global Research & Development team in Holland, Michigan. The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Working closely within a cross-functional R&D team to design, implement, and execute both exploratory and automated tests to ensure product meets quality standards.

  • Conduct testing for products before product launches/releases to ensure the product fulfills system requirements and is robust for use.

  • Review system requirements and track and report quality assurance metrics.

  • Involvement in the full software life cycle including Analysis, Build, Testing, Integration, Release, and Support activities.

  • Working in an international environment collaborating with global agile development teams.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.

  • Minimum 5 years of technical hands-on proven experience in a quality assurance role.

  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, test types, and processes.

  • Experience with scripting and one or more automated testing tools - Selenium, Cypress, Jasmine, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

  • Experience designing, implementing, and delivering QA activities for complex, interconnected solutions with multiple subsystems.

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

  • Experience in the logistics industry, warehouse automation, or material handling would be a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

  • Exceptional ability to work both autonomously and with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done.

  • A good understanding of Agile software development and Testing principles and practices.

  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

  • Open to continuous innovation and learning.

  • Occasional travel may be required - up to 25% (including international).
