About the Opportunity

DMI is looking for a Backend Java Architect for a long term contract with one of our largest automotive clients. This position requires on-site work 2 - 3 days a week in the Auburn Hills, MI area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Proficient in distributed system design, specializing in microservices architectural patterns.
  • Skilled in crafting multiple small relational data models.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing the Java Spring Boot ecosystem, with a focus on developing Rest APIs and implementing industry-standard security measures like JWTs.
  • Hands-on experience with Java programming language and SQL.
  • Essential familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • At least 10 years' experience in designing, developing and maintaining enterprise applications.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience on Agile methodologies
  • Solid understanding of core and modern technologies around Cloud, APIs, Web-services
