Fortune Brands is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic SEO Specialist to join our team and drive organic traffic and engagement across our online ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive SEO strategies across various channels, including website content, product pages, meta descriptions, and more. You will also play a key role in crafting compelling copy that informs, engages, and converts consumers while adhering to SEO best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value target keywords for website optimization and content creation.
• Develop engaging and informative content (including website copy, landing pages, blog posts, product descriptions, meta descriptions, etc.) that is search engine optimized and drives conversions.
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice and messaging while adhering to SEO best practices.
• Conduct website audits to identify and address technical SEO issues that hinder search engine visibility. Analyze website structure, internal linking, page speed, and mobile-friendliness, implementing improvements as needed.
• Track and analyze website performance metrics (organic traffic, rankings, conversions) using analytics tools and stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithms.
• Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for all online channels, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
• Edit and proofread existing content to ensure it meets SEO and brand standards.
• Experience writing for technical products and global audiences is a strong plus.
• Partner closely with Ecomm, PODS, marketing, product, IT and design teams to develop and execute SEO strategies and campaigns.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business goals.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of success in increasing organic traffic and conversions.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and technical SEO factors.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a flair for crafting engaging and persuasive copy.
• Experience conducting keyword research and analyzing website performance data using SEO tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SEO software tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
• Detail-oriented and a self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
