Job Description

Position: Customer Care Advocate

Location: Warren, Michigan - ONSITE

Reports To: Manager I, Commercial Operations

Scope of role

Formsprag Clutch is looking for a customer-oriented service representative to serve as the primary point of contact for all Aerospace customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages handling of all Aerospace customer orders

  • Enters customer forecast and firm orders into company MRP platform as well as maintains internal database or records.

  • Utilizes Customer-specific web-based portals for exchange of customer order information.

  • Investigates and reports on production capabilities for new orders and expediting of existing orders.

  • Coordinates export licensing requirements

  • Assists in the implementation of Aerospace customer rebuild and return orders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing task prioritization.

  • Mustdemonstrate professional phone etiquette skills when communicating with customers and sales representatives.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have proven experience...

  • High school degree or GED required.

  • A minimum of one year's proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
