Role Summary

As an Inside Sales Guide, you will be on the front lines providing support for our customers and educating the Rivian community on our continuously growing products and services. You will have an active role in fostering our Rivian culture.

As an Inside Sales Guide, you are an integral member of the customer service and sales process. This role is essential in guiding prospective customers, fans, and the community through the initial next steps in finding the Rivian they desire. This role owns customer relationship from captured lead through scheduling their first demo-drive experience. You are passionate not only for our brand and our mission but also hungry to drive a competitive sales culture. You'll ensure that the right message gets to the right person via the right medium, every time, thereby driving growth, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty. We're looking for someone who loves people and is excited to take every opportunity to deliver on our promises to our customers and community when it comes to the interactive sales process.


Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls to drive sales opportunities that have been identified through call campaigns
  • Provide outbound call follow up to progress leads through sales funnel.
  • Act as a Rivian brand and product specialist, evangelizing the mission and product vision that sets us apart.
  • Provide support for prospective customers, fans, friends, and Rivian owners through their respective journeys with our brand and products.
  • Manage lead engagement, qualification, capture, and scoring to shepherd prospective customers through a sales pipeline.
  • Manage general product support and event inquiries surrounding Vehicle Pre-Orders, Vehicle Configurations, Rivian Shop Orders, Retail Store Support, Demo Drive Scheduling, and additional support and pre-sales and ownership scope as assigned.
  • Initiate and manage relationships with prospective and existing customers through inbound calls.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
  • Accountable to KPIs that involve number of customer contacts handled, SLA responses, lead captures, demo drives scheduled, and any other goals that ensure the collective success of Rivian.
  • Ensure customer experience is best-in-class: authentic, engaging, educational and aligned with Rivian's core values and culture
  • Understanding the competitive landscape by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively showcase the value in our products.
  • Take on additional projects, duties and assignments as required and/or by request from the sales leadership

Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience providing outstanding customer service and/or sales deliverables
  • Experience in a call center environment preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience using CRM (ex. Salesforce)
  • Ability to multi-task while providing exceptional quality of work
  • Excellent written and verbal language skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing timelines
  • Requires nights/weekend work contingent on business goals and needs
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple, different work streams and tools
  • Willing and able to work within a 7-day workweek, including holidays, with additional flexibility during busier times of the year.
