Base Pay Range: $94,400.00 - $160,500.00

Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA

In this role, you will support existing hardware and the architectural design of new hardware. Candidate is required to meet with different teams and project collaborators to develop the best solution for their needs. Candidate will identify and assess developer requirements and uncover solutions, recommend, plan, and drive these solutions to Production. Looking for individuals who are inquisitive, flourishes with challenges, enjoy problem solving and have excellent written & verbal skills!

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain hypervisor solutions for virtualization platforms.

* Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure detailed integration.

* Implement and optimize virtualization technologies for performance, scalability, and reliability.

* Address and resolve issues related to hypervisors, virtual machines, and associated infrastructure.

* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in virtualization technology.

* Work closely with hardware and software engineers to improve hypervisor features and capabilities.

* Perform regular system audits to ensure security and compliance with industry standards.

* Provide technical support and mentorship to other team members.

* Collaborate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

* Documentation for system configurations, processes, and standard methodologies.


Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

* Experience in crafting and leading storage solutions for virtualized environments.

* In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM

* Proficient track record of storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, FC) and technologies (SAN, NAS).

* Practical knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

* Experience with backup and recovery solutions.

* Excellent problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
