GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for consultation and direction of addiction therapies (LMSW, LPC, LLMSW, LLPC, case management) in assigned area. Provides orientation and education to the substance use therapists. Conducts casework services, counseling and recommends functions necessary to ensure the overall operational viability of assigned area(s). Participates in the establishment of policies, procedures, and work processes. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in the departments goals and objectives.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master's degree in social work (LMSW) or counseling (LPC). Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience. Strong working knowledge of Discharge Planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Keen analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Positive physician and payer relationships. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Ability to manage multiple priorities and sensitive situations. CAADC certification required.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
LMSW or LPC required. CAADC required. CCS preferred. CCS development plan and attainment of certificate within 2.5 years if not currently certified preferred.
