Project Manager

Plascore Inc, a cutting edge, high-quality producer of Honeycomb composites, is seeking an accomplished and innovative Project Manager with a strong background in architecture and/or construction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews project blueprints and specifications, works with materials and production to develop quotes and assembles project submittals. Follows through on quote until closing.
  • Generates technical specifications and drawings as needed.
  • Review prints and verify details of projects during bid and manufacturing stages.
  • Responds to incoming calls and inquiries from customers.
  • Contract review and negotiation.
  • Work with customers to determine which product to apply in various applications.
  • Assist customers with design build questions.
  • Develop new specifications for various cleanroom applications.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Work with Manufacturing and purchasing to address customers issues.
  • Provide input on quality issues both internally and externally.
  • Provide technical assistance and problem solving for design and product function issues.
  • Maintains organized and detailed records of project.
  • Provide guidance to the rest of the Cleanroom team on pharmaceutical product application as well as answer questions on unique applications.
  • Understand the construction industry and how those customers differ from customers who deal with manufacturing.
  • Monitors current jobs for status and completion requirements.
  • Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma-GED
  • 5-7 years of progressive work experience in the project management/construction management field
  • Experience in Estimating, Quoting & Customer Service
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • High analytical skills.
  • Ability to find solutions to unusual and difficult problems.


Requirements:

Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
