Job Requirements (Include, but not limited to):
  • Possess a current Michigan Journeyman Electrician License issued by LARA.
  • Perform industrial electrical installations in accordance with the NEC.
  • Perform basic electrical algebraic functions in reference to OHM's law.
  • Be proficient with all voltages up to 480v 3 phase.
  • Be knowledgeable of 13kv.
  • Able to effectively use and interpret a volt meter, amp meter, and a megohmmeter.
  • Be familiar with basic facilities electrical controls.
  • Be able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Be proficient with industrial switch gear.
  • Be proficient at bending and installing emt, imc, and rigid metal conduit up to 2".
  • Be able to install both step down and isolation transformers
  • Be able to troubleshoot/repair and install new construction industrial electrical installations.
  • Be able to work in both a platform and articulating man lift at heights up to 50 ft.
  • Be able to perform work on the facility roof.
  • Be able to perform work from all positions to include but not limited to laying down, sitting, standing or from a step ladder or an extension ladder at heights to 25 feet.
  • Be able to work on projects solo or with other members of the skilled trades team.
  • Possess all hand tools required to perform industrial electrical installations.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills
