Your role:

Join Atlas Copco Industrial Assembly Solutions (IAS) as a Customer Relations Representative. Your duties as a business warranty and repair representative include providing dedicated support and maintaining good relationships with customers through the timely processing of warranty and repair orders, preparation of quotations, and maintenance of accurate data in SAP. As a Customer Relations Representative, you will be in a Hybrid role, reporting to the Manager of Order Processing at our Auburn Hills location.

What you will do:
  • Assist customers in determining which services are required and issuing RMA's for returned items.
  • Order processing and invoicing of fulfilled orders based on supporting data
  • Analysis of monthly and annual figures, including trends and customer base structure.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries regarding repair order status, pricing, etc.
  • Manage warranty process for Repair and Warranty component parts and feedback results to the Quality Department and Customers.
  • Maintain records for the workload and ensure all utilization is posted in a timely manner
  • Participate in the transformation of Order Processing into a functional team.
  • Operational support, intercompany standardization
  • Creating metrics for reporting regarding trends and customer structure.
  • Maintain records of the workload and contact the Service Department for any discrepancies regarding the quality of tasks performed by assigned Service Technicians.
  • Back up to other Customer Relations Representatives in different sales channels and functions
  • Perform additional tasks and complete projects assigned by the manager on a needed basis.

Experience:
  • Experience with direct customer contact in a professional environment.
  • Experience working within an international organization and adapting easily to different cultures.
  • Practical experience in dealing with customers in a service-orientated focus (both internal and external)
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, or advanced languages (German, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
  • Assertiveness, Resilience.
  • Entrepreneurial and networked thinking.
  • Organized and highly structured, High social competence, Communication skills
  • Good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP R/3.
Education:
  • High school Diploma or GED required,
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
