What makes this role important at Ipsos?

This role will work at the direction of the Vice President, NA Total Rewards to help architect and build reports that provide insight into Human Resources. They will also support HR Leaders in creating standard and ad-hoc reports, analyzing workforce data, identifying data trends, and ensuring HR data integrity. This position will leverage various data sources and fields (headcount, employee demographics, job requisition, compensation, utilization, skills, etc.) to deliver results. You will help find opportunities for using people metrics and analytics to improve HR performance and drive business performance. As an individual contributor you collaborate with L&D, Talent Acquisition, HR Resource Center, and HRBP's as a liaison to the People Analytics team. More broadly - building their ability to access, interpret, and take action on insights through People Analytics solutions.

The person who will be successful in this role has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a passion to take initiative along with exceptional professional communication skills (oral and written). Additionally, you thrive in a fast-paced team environment where multi-tasking and staying organized is essential. You are comfortable handling confidential information and using your well-developed technical and time management skills. You have advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and previous experience working in the human resource field is a definite asset, as is an undergraduate degree in Human Resources. What you can expect to be doing:

  • Assist with gathering and developing formal business requirements regarding People Analytics across all NA Human Resources COEs, including but not limited to headcount, turnover, new hires, promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Help to identify analytics opportunities and new data sources to create value for the region.
  • Prioritize and scope analytics projects/products efforts based on the value to the business.
  • Maintain and enhance current reporting deliverables while exploring new and innovative ways to report and examine HR data.
  • Assess report requests and compare them to the existing reporting catalog to determine whether new reports are necessary.
  • Assist with the design and development of client-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations to enable better people decisions.
  • Provide thought-leadership on report results, trends, and recommendations.
  • Ensure data quality and field integrity by auditing existing and new reports to determine data accuracy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with HR and business users to assist them with using and understanding existing and newly created reports.
  • Help to develop standard processes and checks to streamline HR data and reporting work requests and ensure adherence to those requests.
  • Help to execute monthly, bi-annual, and annual audits, including year-end scheduled report audits, monthly report creation audits, and ongoing report administration audits.

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree, courses in Human Resource or related field preferred.
  • Experience creating, analyzing, and tracking People Analytics, specifically through Excel, HCM systems, and/or Tableau.
  • Experience working with HR organizations and has moderate understanding of fundamental HR practices.
  • Discipline to work with highly confidential information and ability to critically analyze data input/output for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
  • High degree of initiative and timeliness in delivering work output.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and can support HR positions relative to People Analytics issues.
  • Proven record of accomplishment prioritizing and handling multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Experience with Tableau Platform.
  • Experience with document transformation, XML, XSLT.
  • Advanced Excel skills. (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP and other complicated formulas.)
