Job Description
JOB TITLE: Senior Electrical Engineer positions with Pi Innovo LLC in Novi, Michigan.
JOB DUTIES: Will Conduct packaging of wire harness, electronic components, and electronic sub-systems into a customer chassis. Perform assessments on wire harness packaging quality and incorporate changes as needed to achieve a high quality and robust design. Support customer program PDS, BOM, DFMEA, DVP, ED&T, and RFQ responses. Facilitate internal communications between Engineering, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and Assembly. Design wire harness for High Voltage Junction Boxes. Support the collaborative design of the junction box and all the components located inside the box. Utilize CAD skills and face-to-face design reviews to meet customer design requirements to output robust junction boxes with cost effectiveness and design for manufacturing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in electrical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering or related technical field, and at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or at least 2 years of experience in automotive engineering. Stated experience must include at least 2 years of experience in each of the following: Electrical, Wire Harness, and Electrical Components Engineering; Electrical components (wire harness, electrical components) assembly to vehicles and electrical components quality; CAD (NX, CATIA, or similar) and Wiring Schematic Software (EPlan, Mentor Graphics, or similar). Must be willing to travel domestically 10% and internationally 10%.
