Job Summary

This role will work closely with the Accounting team, other corporate functions, and operating teams. The position is primarily responsible for performing accounting functions for the Energy Division of Employbridge, including compiling monthly reporting and assisting in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. The position will also perform analysis and prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, including in moderately complex areas, in support of Employbridge's consolidated close. This role will be a key member of a team that partners with the operating teams to ensure the timely and
accurate reporting of the monthly results.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate customer service focus by building sustainable relationships with internal and
    external customers through proactive and interactive communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills including ability to react appropriately in stressful.
    situations and deal with difficult customer situations diplomatically.
  • Assists the Accounting Supervisor, and the accounting team generally, with the timely and
    accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial information for Employbridge
    • Analyzes financial information to evaluate reasonableness and accuracy
    • Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations in support of monthly close
    • Prepares monthly analyses and rankings based on operating team performance


Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years in a corporate accounting function
  • Experience with the Varicent software solution would be a major plus
  • Excellent communication skills

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $80,000 to $95,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
