Educational Partnerships Representative



Wireless Generation’s revolutionary Burst™:Reading answers the “Now what?” question by using formative assessment data to drive skills-based grouping and teacher-led intervention. Burst™:Reading technology analyzes formative assessment data overnight to generate 10-day sequences of teacher-delivered intervention throughout the year, synchronized to the changing needs of K-3 students. Burst™:Reading offers a unique combination of professional development and fidelity support is oriented towards helping each district, school and teacher achieve the best results for their students.

Job Description – Educational Partnerships Representative:

Wireless Generation is looking for a high energy go getter to join our growing sales team. The Educational Partnerships Representative will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets and will focus on identifying and cultivating new opportunities for selling Wireless Generation’s reading intervention product, Burst™:Reading and other related products, directly to schools in their territories. The ideal candidate is someone who is entrepreneurial in nature and is looking to enter the world of educational sales while building a client list from the ground up.

Responsibilities of Educational Partnerships Representative:
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by expanding existing business and developing new business
  • Deliver professional sales presentations to individual school leaders with the ability to persuade and close business
  • Demonstrate accurate and current knowledge of Wireless Generation’s intervention products, specifically Burst™:Reading
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local schools
  • Improve product knowledge and selling skills by attending relevant sales meetings and training sessions
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans and territory management activities as required
  • Work closely with the services team to ensure repeat sales
  • Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients, i.e. local schools, and assume all territory management in an assigned geographic region
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in assigned territory
  • Contribute to a professional atmosphere through positive interaction with customers, prospects, management, and other associates
Requirements of Educational Partnerships Representative:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2 years or more of work experience, some sales background preferred
  • Experience based knowledge of challenges teaching / working within K-12 environment preferred but not required
  • Experience in public speaking with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Well developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation are key to success
  • Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide
