Internship positions are available with Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting - an industry leader in the development of accounting software and services utilized by over 40,000 firms nationwide, including all ten of the nation's largest firms.
During this full-time, paid internship you will be trained on one or more of our accounting products. You will conduct comprehensive product testing of the software to evaluate its functionality and usability. You will work closely with an experienced accounting analyst to follow test plans and verify that the product complies with internal functional and design specifications. You will also provide feedback to the team regarding your findings and suggestions on possible design changes and improvements.
This internship program will expose you to business practices and products used by thousands of accounting firms nationwide, and it will allow you to acquire skills necessary to transition into the workforce in any number of career fields or possibly a full-time position on our staff. This is a critical time for you to establish yourself as a professional, and we have the program that will allow you to succeed.

Qualifications- We seek accounting, accounting information systems, and other business curriculum juniors and seniors or those working on a related masters program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Technical aptitude for learning and understanding technology and tools
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high energy environment
- Ability to multi-task projects in an effective and productive manner
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Bookkeeping (accounts payable and accounts receivable) and/or Payroll industry experience a plus, but not required
- Prior experience with CS Professional Suite Accounting Products or other accounting software a plus, but not required
