The Opportunity
Internship positions are available with Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting - an industry leader in the development of accounting software and services utilized by over 40,000 firms nationwide, including all ten of the nation's largest firms.
During this full-time, paid internship you will help develop our products using the latest Microsoft technologies. You will program / code the software to meet design specifications. You will collaborate with analysts and other development staff to establish and implement necessary software features and functions.
With on-going mentoring by our experienced programmers, you'll transform classroom theory into real-life practice. The knowledge you gain during your internship will give you the skills necessary to transition into the workforce, or possibly into a full-time position on our staff.

Qualifications
  • We seek Computer Science or equivalent curriculum juniors and seniors or those working on a related masters program.
  • 1-2 college level classes of either C / C# or other formal training
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numeric and problem solving orientation
  • Strong grasp of object oriented concepts and design methodologies
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high energy environment
  • Ability to multi-task projects in an effective and productive manner
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Experience programming in C /C# a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio a plus, but not required
