Full-time Director of Pharmacy

Stonecrest Center, Detroit, MI

Description: As a CPS-employed Director of Pharmacy at Stonecrest Center, you’ll have a full support team available to you, from a Regional VP, Regional Clinical Director, and 340B Specialist to a Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, and more. We’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. You’ll recommend innovations in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to Administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. You will supervise 1 full-time Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications:

* Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD)

* MI licensure in good standing

* Experience as a Director of Pharmacy in a retail or hospital setting

* Psychiatry experience preferred

* Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns

* Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff

Facility: Located in northeast Detroit, this 90-bed mental health provider offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs for adults, adolescents, and children. It is owned and operated by Behavioral Centers of America. The pharmacy is open from 8am-4:30pm. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
